Ovingdean Hall Foundation, previously Ovingdean Hall School for Deaf Children, is a charity and grant-maker supporting education projects for deaf children and young people in the UK.
Charities we have supported include The Elizabeth Foundation, The Ear Foundation, National Deaf Children’s Society, Panathlon and SignHealth.
We have funded new music rooms, family rooms, sensory rooms, salaries, equipment, and sports and theatre experiences for deaf children. We also fund scholarships for teachers training to be Teachers of the Deaf. Please support our much-needed work. Thank you.
We receive applications for many excellent projects. During 2020 and beyond, we will be balancing our grant-making between:
activity grants (for the benefit of deaf children and young people)
training grants (for the benefit of the professionals who work with deaf children and young people)
supporting mental health and well-being, and bringing deaf children and young people together
We are fortunate to be supported by a number of individuals and trusts who help us to support as many charities as we can. If you would like to make a donation, please visit Support Us or Donate Through Kind Link Thank you.
